Abinta was very keen to provide support to underprivileged children through education and good health service. She was acutely aware of the difficulties hospitals face with limited facilities. To honour Abinta’s zealous will to help in reducing child mortality and ensure mothers’ good health AKF provided 1 incubator and 1 ICU ventilator to the Neo-natal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) of the Shishu (Children’s) Hospital. NICU specialises in care of critically ill and prematurely born babies. The neonatal incubators are used to maintain optimal environmental conditions suitable for newborns. The incubators include blood pressure monitor, oxygen hood and ventilator.
