A girl’s education at Abinta Kabir Foundation School costs just 25 USD $ or 2000 BDT per month. “Sponsor a Girl” is a new initiative that aims to support the 144 girls that currently study at the school. With your gift of only 25 USD $ or 2000 BDT you will fund one student for an entire month – inclusive of uniforms, school supplies, books, one full meal per day, and even medical checkups.

The girls at Abinta Kabir Foundation school are truly thriving. With your help we will be able to maintain this standard and hopefully even extend the opportunity to many more underprivileged young girls in Dhaka.

You can make a one-time donation of 25 USD $ or 2000 BDT (covering one month), 300 USD $ or 24000 BDT (covering one year), or simply make your 25 USD $ or 2000 BDT payment recurring so that it will come once a month for a year!

When you donate, you will receive an email with the name and a bio of the girl that you have sponsored. You will also receive updates on the child throughout the year so you can see how your contribution is making a direct impact.

Can I sponsor more than one child?

Yes, you can sponsor as many as you wish given there are unsponsored children left.

If I sponsor a child how long will I sponsor for?

We hope the child you sponsor will continue for a number of years. But, if you choose to end your sponsorship for any reason. You can stop at any time (given you notify us at 30 days prior) and we will try to find another sponsor for that child. Sponsorship tenures can be month long, quarter long (for three months), half year long, or for the full year.

After donating will I be notified that which child got sponsored?

Yes, you will get a thank you email and receive a bio of sponsored child. You will also receive periodic notification regarding the child’s progress in school. If you wish to visit your child, you may also schedule an appointment with the school.

Will the expenditure rise as the child grows up?

We will try to avoid raising the expenditure of sponsorship to donors, as we know how money can be tight. Thus, the expenses will be fixed for at least 1 year. We review the expenditure of sponsorship once each year. If the expenditure has to rise, we will tell the donors in advance typically prior to the start of a new academic year.
